4 out of 6 teams that qualified for the Pacific League playoffs are from the SEA region and 3 out of the top 4 finishing teams from the last Pacific Ascension League are also from SEA. And Riot has decided to merge the SEA Challenger League into one? This indirectly places SEA teams at the same level as teams from OCE and SA. No offense to my peeps from OCE and SA but lets be realistic.

Whoever is in charge of this decision must be dumb and should be fired. Well it’s probably another Leo Faria decision, this guy never learns. If viewership is indeed an issue, you can’t sacrifice competitive integrity for viewer numbers. It’s really unfair to the players and teams currently competing in T2-T3.

And its kinda crazy with how everyone so chill about this changes lmao.

agree if atleast a few SA players can prove their worth on ascension, i think adding one more seat for SA player doesnt sound so bad.

From an org viewpoint, suppose they're going for a 5-Indian roster and end up winless for the entire split (lets be realistic), it's a lose-lose situation. Sure, they'll have the 5-Indian roster but no one will watch a team that keeps losing and there's no way Riot will let it slide (for being winless).

That's why I think Rushi's approach is probably the best for now. But rather than just one Indian player, how about adding one more from SA VCL? and get rid of sp0n while make a roster around russ and blazek1ng.

so, the whole roster would look like this :

  • russ
  • blazek1ng
  • good igl
  • indian
  • indian
