Since I'm new to this forum, I don't know if developers made the 'Move topic' feature; if not, you can simply delete the topic and make it again in the 'Off-topic' or 'General Discussion' thread.

Really nice clutch, but move your topic to 'Off-topic' or 'General Discussion' threads since it's not really appropriate for a 'Site Discussion' thread.

Hahaha, that's not what I meant when giving this idea.

posted 2 months ago

Bump, so more people see and vouch for this idea.

posted 2 months ago

It's true that it would take more moderating, but I don't see that as a big problem, especially if the report a profile option was introduced, and one of the reasons for reporting the user is an inappropriate profile bio. Agreeing with you, they should definitely add Riot IDs to the link as well; it would be really nice.

posted 2 months ago

Yeah, hopefully developers see this and create a bio for every user.

posted 2 months ago

I feel like you are trolling with this reply, since it don't make any sense.

posted 2 months ago

Another idea just came to my mind: adding bio in profile settings. I know this may not be revolutionary change, but it would be helpful since user can link URLs for his socials, websites etc., or even write a word or two about themselves. Do you guys vouch for my idea or not?

Bump, so this don't die immediately

What do you mean by that?

I'm thinking about placing a bet on these 2 matches;
-REJECT v. IGZIST
-Sengoku Gaming v. AXELERATE

My predictions is that Sengoku Gaming would win their match pretty easily, but I'm not sure what would happen in REJECT v. IGZIST match. Assuming, REJECT will win this match because of better bookies odds, but that's just assumption since I don't really follow neither REJECT or IGZIST.

What do you guys think about these 2 matches, you don't necessary need to predict final result only, you can also try to predict map 1, map 2 and map 3 winners (including OT).
I would really appreciate if someone who actually follows these teams (REJECT and/or IGZIST) give their opinion on this. I'm waiting some time to hear from you guys before I place my bet, so I have better chance of winning :D

I don't understand.

Thanks for all recommendations, I will check every single of these movies and consider watching some of them.

I heard about this movie, but never watched it. Might consider watching it.

Why is this a threat?

posted 2 months ago

Move this topic in 'Site Discussion' thread since you are giving suggestion for website.

posted 2 months ago

Someone suggest me good thriller, something like 'Joker' or 'The Dark Knight'. I'm just watching Oppenheimer right now, but I need more recommendations. Also, would really appreciate if you put IMDB link with your recommended movie.

It's true that game can be mentally draining, but only if you feel relative deprivation (look up here if you don't understand the terminology: (https://dictionary.apa.org/relative-deprivation)). Firstly, you should ask yourself why you play at all, do you have any goals in game or you just play for fun. If your conclusion is to play the game with specific goal, than you should work on defining that goal much precise, and have a better understanding on entire situation. Understanding the fact that patience and hard work is only formula to achieve your goal. On the other hand, if you play game for fun -- simply, if you don't feel like playing the game and you don't enjoy playing it, than quitting is reasonable.

Will do that, thanks.

All good, as I said, this idea might be already mentioned, since I'm new to the site I don't know a lot about it. Clearly, my intention was to give a good idea to mods, not to do damage to threads :)

posted 2 months ago

My bad then :D

posted 2 months ago

Why not? If feature is working, and successfully introduced by mods, people would use it properly.

posted 2 months ago

Bump, so thread don't die

posted 2 months ago

And I'm curious how is trust built in these buys, is there any escrow mentioned on this website or?

posted 2 months ago

So, that means if I want to buy something I need to create thread for it, and if someone PM me or answer to thread that's the only way that I can buy that thing?

posted 2 months ago

Fair enough, did you saw someone already tried to sell or buy stuff here?

posted 2 months ago

Is it allowed to sell/buy things on this site, not necessary VALORANT account but other things as well f.e. computer parts etc.?

posted 2 months ago

So you agree with me?

posted 2 months ago

Although I didn't see someone mention that this site have a phishing clone, I still think it would be a good feature for precautious

posted 2 months ago

Why is this in 'Off-topic' when it's connected to VALORANT?

posted 2 months ago

Hello, I don't know if this idea is already mentioned, if it is I'm sorry, I simply didn't saw it. So, my idea is to maximize site users security against phishing sites. For example, whenever in thread, another link from vlr.gg forum is mentioned, user's can check integrity and authenticity of link with hovering with pointer over that link, text color should become green if real vlr.gg website is mentioned. I'm talking this because I know for a fact that there are many attackers lurking for info by operating phishing websites, so this feature for improving user's security would be a great deal. Although I didn't see someone mention that this site have a phishing clone, I still think it would be a good feature for precautious. What do others think about this?

posted 2 months ago

It's important to mention that P2P trades don't necessary mean gambling.

posted 2 months ago

The fact that a lot of players is -18 is true, but gambling is really promoting EVERYWHERE. For example, take a look how many TV commericals, football clubs, big YouTubers and streamers is promoting gambling. Not to mention, how many casinos and places for match betting is built near kid's schools. Although, if Riot decide to promote gambling it would for sure take some controversy, but good KYC system will make sure that minors is not gambling.

posted 2 months ago

Reasonable, but I still found it interesting.

posted 2 months ago

Why you think this is not interesting to consider?

posted 2 months ago

Imagine if VALORANT introduced P2P items trading like Steam did. Of course, it wouldn't be the same like in CS because of item shop here, but it would be really interesting idea. Also, with introducing P2P items trading in VALORANT, VALORANT gambling sites will start operating and I don't know if Riot is happy about that, but I would like to see that as well. What do you guys think?
