TSM 2-1 if they win pistols.
TSM 1-2 if they go back to their old ways.
Faze 2-1
They're fine as players tbh. They just played shit as a team.
Team's frequently not checking corners. SUPER passive, sleep-inducing gameplay on defense AND attack. absolutely abysmal map control on split and haven. terrible spacing in a few ascent rounds. and just overall uncoordinated team play. They play like all they do is scrim and not ranked where random shit can happen and they need to adapt on the fly. It still feels like they just picked up Valorant, and with all that aim, it can only take them so far.
that's just a penalty for losing. Don't lose and you get to relax 4Head
Not at first, but now they're lower. they just didn't have enough matches to lose to knock em down, but they're down now.
they were atrocious on defense too in map 1 & 3
yeah, i have no idea what tf they were doing with their SUPER passive set ups and basically forgetting map control in critical parts of the map like ramps on split and garage in haven then getting pikachu faced when an enemy is in their face and they're trying to drone. it's actually insane watching them playing with the passive level of plats & the aim of gods. it's jarring.
T1 will probably 2-0 TSM unfortunately.
well, they won it. Let em try things out.
What do you mean? Sentinels have already played it 3 times (with a 100% win rate). GenG have played it, xset, as well as 100T.
KJ is huge on Breeze. she just shrinks the map into nice chunks where you can put utility where normally a player would have to occupy that space and you can respond to it as needed without spreading the team too think on defense OR attack. I thought this immediately when Breeze came out and it's pretty reassuring when I see KJs top fragging or just doing really well in many Breeze maps played by top teams (like Dapr on Sentinels and some EU teams too like brodi on tenstar).
I'm not sure what you mean at all.
Where do you see 2nd gets 75, 3rd gets 60 and 4th 50? The top 4 who make it to Berlin don't get any points until they actually place in Berlin. Even if they all get 13-16th somehow, they'll all get the same 175 points. If they all get 9th-12th somehow, they'll each get 225 points.
Points for 5-12th in the playoffs (the people who don't make it to Berlin) haven't been disclosed yet, so I'm not sure where your numbers are coming from.
Either way, nobody should be throwing any matches at this point when even LCQs are very hard to get into.
but masters 1 was essentially equivalent to a challengers finals. That wouldn't make sense. I think the better solution would be to make the LCQs larger since so many regions are involved or to include proportional slots for CIS/TR (at least 1 each) like they do for the EMEA finals/playoffs so that it doesn't feel like one region is squeezing out another by virtue of their different levels of internal competition.
Lol maybe they'll start picking up Dicey as the new supersub
Fnatic vs BDS? 3-1
no he needed to check if the guy was sticking the plant. They lost a lot of rounds on icebox cuz of defuses so this was definitely the best (and smart) play. Just unlucky the enemy's spectre hit a running headshot
Aproto with the 45% HS ratio, this man
Yeah, they just gotta get top 4 in the main event next week to get those 40 points so they can at the very least make it to LCQ. Tough road ahead, but very excited for the potential reawakening of TSM
they haven't qualified yet. still gotta win tomorrow then they'll go to main event 2 and maybe there they'll get top 4 and go to the playoffs. Will see if they can recoup their tier 1 status soon!
It's been a long day. things aren't gonna look clean after a while
Agreed
They seriously need to start giving C9W stream time. We wanna see them!
Alternatively, they can bench or release him if they mutually agree on that. There's no need to sit a contract out if there's no benefit to both parties and in this case, I really don't see a benefit for both parties cuz Sinatraa wants to play and win, not be a 6th for a team that clearly doesn't need him right now and won't be holding to an expensive player like that when they have the current best team in the world.
Is it really that time again?
[Insert random TSM shitpost]
Quick question: Is there a mechanism for breaking down stats (like kills) per round, like the "Timeline" feature in-game? For example, I wanted to see how many kills Asuna got during regulation in that record-breaking 48-kill match in Icebox vs V1 (it was 26) before going into overtime, but I had to go watch the vod to see it since the stats pages only show a summary of what happened.
I doubt it's something everybody wants to see, but just curious if you've thought about it.
While that could be the case, the opposite can be true too. A harder to predict bracket can show how competitive a region is. If no one moves up or down, that's a bad sign in the long-term.
xset looks nasty w/ the aim. A lot of the maps were straight up aim duel wins and it was impressive af to see SEN get out-aimed
Obviously? That's why the 2nd part of the sentence says they're uncoordinated and too often look lost to do that...
They don't even have a coach. why would they get a 6 man? speculation for the sake of speculation?
"Vanguard Anti Cheat" for valorant. It can also refer to Valve anti-cheat which is used in CS
Hopefully at their best, 100T is 2nd best and can beat xset in the playoffs. I personally think they should be able to beat Sen, but they're way too uncoordinated a lot of times :(
I think they said they were working on some kind of recognition for pickems, but it is a new system, so it might take some time? Still, crazy that someone got that shit perfect lol
a 15-13 loss would say otherwise. Both teams seemed loss on attack
yeah I was confused too. thanks iper
the game wasn't even over yet and they wanted to talk lmao
Zombs is doing pretty well today. thoughts?
I think just ethan on skye will do. Phoenix is really good on ascent and Asuna has performed really well on it before.
Every loss doesn't mean they need to change everything. Some of it is just bad plays
Breeze is really good don't let the vocal minority fool you
All the seeding matches have been meh, but this was definitely the most interesting one cuz it was new.
I literally just came from Wyatt's chat and spent the last 3 minutes typing this up. No idea what's on reddit
I've been saying for months KJ is really good on Breeze. The turret is really powerful on that map with all that space to watch your back (or front) for lurks as well as for flanks on attack. The alarm bot can still be used in tube or for pushes as usual. The only thing I was iffy about was the ult, but Dapr just showed it doesn't need to take the whole site to push people back or bait people to come to you. Sure, dealing w/ the range limit sucks and the new 20 sec recall time limit is trash w/ the recent nerfs, but I still really feel like it allows you to play the map in more interesting ways.
tl;dr: KJ = good.
what is 0/8 from and what's it mean?
lolololol what's with the obvious baits these days?
LOL wait a minute wait a minute.. who's team are you for again?
No, I haven't lol. I don't think I want to now haha
[insert popular team here] -> loses 1 map or 1 match.
VLR discussion threads: NUKE THE TEAM. Why is their duelist having a bad day? YOU CAN'T DO THAT. YOU HAVE TO BE PERFECT FOR ME!
