mwzera Rating Graph!

Hello, I recently posted a graph on twitter of mwzera's rating over his career so far. Unfortunately I cannot embed images in these forums, so go check it out if you want to see it.

One of the things I like to look at when I look at CSGO stats on HLTV is the graph that shows how a player's rating has changed over time.

I made a very simplistic version of that rating with Valorant ACS. Each data point is not simply the ACS of each map. Each data point is a weighted average of the previous 10 maps played. More recent maps are weighed more heavily. (The most recent map is about 21% of the rating and the 10th most recent is only about 3%).

I am probably going to try to extend this for a lot more players, but it takes a bit of work, and I don't have much time, so I will probably only do a few more in the near future. Let me know which players I should do this for next!

its crystal clear from the graph that changing roles reduced his ACS
despite playing sova, one of the most passive agents in the game, he was able to finish in top1~3 of every single metric when we look at the past BR VCT statistics

He started playing sova only at champions and his stats were already on a steep decline since LCQ. What hurt him the most was not the agent change but the shift in meta in playstyle, pretty much by the time of LCQ mwzera couldn’t just outduel people drypeeking him, having now to deal with other team’s utility and more thought out play.

I’m not saying he’s not above the average, that he certainly is, it’s just that the current way the game works just doesn’t compliment his playstyle and he hasn’t really improved his game sense especially when on raze, just watch the difference in Kast whenever he’s on raze and compare it to his sova (I’ve stated before that he’s easily the player that dies the most because he’s been caught off guard)

mwzera played raze in this playoff.
Sacy is insane, he didn't need to play raze, he only played support and did more damage and was only 5 ACS less than mwzera.
this stats just shows that aspas and sacy are by far the best duelists and support in brazil respectively

About mwzera's stats throughout his career, he is only high because he took advantage of the 2020 amateur scene to farm these stats

I think this is most bc of the improvement of the valorant scene, now it's just impossible to achieve the 380acs average in any minimally competitive region

Spent so much time on an overrated player. Atleast if you did TenZ, yay etc would've been worthwhile. But great job nonetheless.

can you take your time to appreciate how insane mwzera is? without a doubt the most talented player to ever touch the game

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

heat? not good with raze
aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)
