CSGO To Valorant Transition

I am Faceit Level 5 and looking to try to play Amateur in either Cs or Valorant . Cs feels like its semi-pro slash/amateur scene especially in NA is dying. I have played Valorant and find it easier than CS. But is it worth grinding?

I think so, If you can get into a good enough T2 team after grinding you'll get a chance to compete in monthly tournaments. Might as well get picked up by T1 team if you are REALLY good enough. Valorant is still full of opportunities unlike CS rn I'd say.

Ya true I have a 1.25 KD and can call pretty well but I feel like Valorant is just better for NA rn just don't know how to get recognition

For getting recognition you have to stream, try to get queued with pros, and be cracked, if you do some flashy plays and clutches, people watching the other pros stream will remember that this guy is good, that's one way to do it, i got to know about many guys like this.

Join the rankings, lots of players are picked up by orgs only by being in the top Radiants. Heat and Aspas from brazil are on top teams because of ranked, so is Shot_Up, Khemicals, Penny, Zellsis, Shawn, Poiz, Bang, and many others. Do well in ranked and you will be recognized, you will eventuallly play with lots of pros and streamers and get the recognition you deserve, and yes, Valorant is easier than CS, is easier to aim, it's easier to play, the maps are smaller and the tactics are simpler.

If that is your goal, go for it. FACEIT is dead im ngl (coming from a player of FACEIT and Val). I still prefer CS personally but I have to admit the Val scene rn has way more promise in NA.

Im going to be 100% real.
Being LVL5 Faceit in NA doesnt mean anything. If u have hopes to become pro in Na your best chance is in Valorant 100% cause of how weak the scene is in CSGO.
But how many years u have been playing in CSGO?, most T1/T2 teams have players that have been playing shooters for atleast 10-5 years at a semipro/pro level, so dont switch to valorant thinking u are going to become a GOD in a week. Probably will have to grind it alot to even become a player for a T3/T4/T5 team.
Like i was for a while LVL10 in faceit and played some amateur tournaments in csgo and im hard stuck in immortal even tho i dont play it mutch so def being LVL5 in faceit will take u a while to even compete at a good lvl.
The easiest way to get called for practs in valorant is having a good agent pool and destroying people in rankeds so that might take a while to take some recognition.

No I know and I have been playing Cs for 5 years im not expecting to go pro within even the first 9 months Im just trying to figure out which game has more promise in NA and it seems to be valorant

Faceit lvl 5 excluding the fact that it is in NA is really mediocre at best.
If you have played for 5 years and not managed higher I don't think being pro is something that should be in your field of vision

unless you are looking to work in McDonalds for the rest of your life, working a normal job pays better than being a 'pro gamer' 99% of the time, unless you are top 1% among the pro

nah I can tell he is genuine, all of us I think at one point wanted to become a pro. Just never had the talent or luck for it.

Played for 5 years but spotty only have 1k hours. I Focus on school and the two jobs I work but need something to grind. Nothing wrong with dreaming as I just turned 19 and have my whole life ahead of me. Been working 2 jobs since 15 and have passive income sources

Sorry I cant write perfect English on the fly responding to a dumb person who I dont give many shits about.. Not my native language. Now why have you thought its even worth pointing out there? And is it even technically grammatically incorrect? Isnt it just less nice sounding way of saying it? Except this "a" as this one probably should be excluded there since its plural "skills".

there is a 'clash' tournament format (liek league of legends) coming into Valorant in game in future. Basically 5v5 tourney format.

so u can get into that one. think it won;t be here for a while though (at least a few months) so you can get some ppl to grind with you to prepare

Facet 5 is not very impressive... my friend is afcuet 8 and he's pretty good at Val... but he's currently playing on a T3 team

you need to be recognized to play at a pro level. if you can find a local team, compete in tournaments. try to get on the leaderboard.
