it's weird to me that all these teams are playing in the qualifiers for the qualifier to qualify for masters 2, but we don't have any details for masters 2...

It’s probably because of the uncertainty created by the Russia Ukraine conflict. I think riot is trying to find a way to help CIS players make it to masters so what happened with FPX doesn’t happen again.
So if FPX, NAVI or hopefully M3C qualify they can play, and so CIS players like Trexx could theoretically play
I’d wait for the details and get a better event then get a rushed event
