how do you cook your burger and what do you put on it?
medium well, with cheddar cheese, ketchup, and grilled onions for me.
Thin burger with Swiss cheese and grilled onions.
Splash some Au jus over the burger after you cover it with cheese. Then place a dome over the top.
Cook on a flat top grill
Heavily season with 80/10/10 (salt/pepper/garlic) before you cook it.
Wait for the cheese to melt and slightly burn / brown on the edges that touch the grill.
Butter the bun and place on the flat top for 30 seconds to slightly grill.
Top with whatever vegi or condiments you like or eat it with just cheese and onions.
I used to manage a steakhouse and that’s the burger I would cook for myself.
