They were most likely not profiting from their cs roster anymore and were trying to sell the players asap before it cost them anymore financial troubles.
could the problems in cis also be a reason since they are also sanctioned im pretty sure
They will always profit from the team but the team is losing opportunities to compete in other events that aren’t valve organized like ESL so they want to leave
