Sliggy has so much to answer for, and I say this with the utmost respect.
Why is Liquid's attack so comically bad tournament after tournament? What are these absurd compositions that basically spoilt their EMEA Challengers run? Why is it every time they "return to comfort picks" they win (think Champions, and then this latest tournament)?
I like Sliggy a lot, and clearly he has the respect of many professional players, coaches, and analysts. But if this was football and a talented team kept underperforming to this extend, you would be calling for that manager's head. I don't necessarily want Sliggy to go, but I just cannot understand what the gameplay on Fracture was: No pace to the attack, zero map control, and generally looking lost and without confidence. Is this what you get from the "big brain" coaching mind of Sliggy? It's hard to understand.
Again, I like Sliggy, I watch his streams, I think he's a great guy. I'm just struggling to understand how a team that is so individually talented just can't string it together in big games. And please, stop blaming soulcas -- the guy is cracked, it's on the coach to get the most from his players.
