PRX thinks they're playing in 2021... Reyna pick doesn't make sense to me compared to other agents in the pool

its a comfort pick for jingg imo. its his first big LAN, let him play whatever agent that he comfort to play.
Comfort picks don't win games, if the comfort pick is Reyna especially, he's a pro player, their agent shot has to be bigger
he can play a lot of agents i believe, but this is different than MM, so u just cant gamble. jingg probably will play reyna on icebox and bind too.
Playing Reyna is a gamble, you always have to count on the Reyna to get kills, but if that slot gets filled by Kayo/Skye who has MUCH more impact in the lobby
it doesnt matter how agent u think good here instead of reyna. the guy simply doesnt comfort play another agents other than sage and reyna. and raze sometimes.
Not think, Kayo/Skye are better than Reyna, that's a fact. But I agree if he simply doesn't have practice with other agents, he has to play Reyna. BUT that shouldn't be an excuse in pro play tbh, players should keep up and keep pracing with the meta, after all, the meta is meta for a reason
p.s. I do think playing off-meta is a good idea. But not Reyna, again the exception in this case is as you said is that this player isn't comfortable on flex
yeah. its a learning experience for him and the team. like i said, its important to play on your comfort pick at your first LAN. after all his aim is great to play on reyna
its his first LAN he needs to be in a good zone instead of trying to play an agent he is not that comfortable with and have bad LAN experience and tilt

Agreed actually, PRX was probably expecting to just aim diff, which if they were able to do they’d be winning
But DRX has improved their mechanics so much comparing to last year
True, it's hard to judge PRX when DRX is just insane. But yeah hopefully PRX figures something out
