they used to be top region 4-5 years ago, but haven't won any relevant since then. Now only Furia are tier 1 team

Brazil won 2016 and 2017 Majors in CS:GO (the Champions from CS:GO). But since then we have been kinda meh. Today only FURIA is the team among the best ones.

We dominate NA scenario with two teams and we won like two majors in a row and others international event but brazil as region were never good we had good players who went to na/eu orgs and pracc there.
now we have furis who is like top 10 team of the world they are together a long time and they are playing a lot of international events so they step up their level.

Furia gets 4th in ESL Pro League (like a major), and Brazil dominates the North American scenario, we're probably the 3rd best region today

How is Br cs scene compared to Br valorant scene? Are more pros switching or nah?
BR CSGO domestic scene is kinda dead rn, our teams are all playing in NA/EU (Furia, Pain, 00Wins, Imperial, TOne, Case), besides that there are just some few tier 3 teams trying to survive playing Mickey Mouse tournaments.
Yes, some few pros are switching but they are all tier 3 players without any relevance tbh. Unlike NA and EU, the BR VAL scene is not fully dominated by ex csgo pros, we have tons Point Blank/Cross Fire/Paladins/CSGO players and some new talent as well, there are even ex LOL pro players in VAL.

Yea, all the competiton with prizemoney is in EU. But I really do hope they do the Rio major again. Brazil has toxic fans but they do have passion for the game.
nah, if our CS best players were in valorant we would be indisputably the best for a while lol. but they didn't switch, like a lot of the NA CS pros did (Hiko, nitro, steel, leaf etc)
