Tier 1 teams in other tournaments

I want to understand why some teams cant play the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship, specially big teams, can someone explain? Thank you.

Some teams made Master etc. 100T

So they can't play in these smaller tournaments.

C9 didn't make Reykjavik or Masters 1, so they can play in smaller tourneys

I dont think so, cause the C9 team that is playing is c9 White, that is the women team. I havent got any answer anywhere and will like to know why. BBG is playing it. So thats why I am lost now/

Im lke 85% sure that if you have VCT points, you can't participate.

I think old c9 blue played in a few of them before they started having a lot of success, probably to increase team chemistry and stuff

Is there like a requirement? Cause none of the big teams have been playing it. It might be that they want to give a chance to smaller org? Thats affect big org too.

i think it has something to do with vct points. and the other teams that don't have points probably just don't want to show strats in a tournament that doesn't matter

They scrim? revealing all your stats publically to beat a tier 2 team to win an irrelevant tournament does more harm than good. and if you decide to save strats then its like whats the point in wasting time doing that when you can just spend that time developing new strats.
