We don't need one, the whole appeal of videogames is that everyone can compete on the same level regardless of their differences.
Making a whole female scene split from the males is useless because they could easily play with the males as there isn't anything that would make one better than the other.

I've seen many female players with cracked aim but I feels like they lack in strats because most teams dont wanna scrim with female teams??? This should be fixed first every teams should scim and try new things against every team regardless of the differentiation then we can talk whether game challengers should be removed or kept, they all have alot of potential. I believe that one day a women's team would win masters.
not a hot take just a dumb surface level take that everyone has when they hear about womens esports for the first time
the official "pro" circuit is mixed gender, game changers exists to raise awareness and cultivate a community for women to get into esports because the demographics are absurdly male dominant. they create role models and inspire opportunity in young girls that are interested in gaming, demonstrating that they can compete too
the reason "men are better than women" is because for basically the entirety of esports, its been structurally beneficial for guys to get into it and assimilate into the culture. there is no genetic advantage, its just that the system fundamentally favors guys as is
game changers has bigger influences than just being a female pro circuit, it's literally working to change the pipeline for women in gaming in general
There's no reason to have a tournament only for females because everyone can play in the normal ones already, no one is saying men are genetically better and there's absolutely nothing that favors or gives an advantage to guys in video games rather than women, the playing field is even, the ceiling is the same and nothing (and no one) would be stopping females to compete even without a whole female scene.
Agree, at e-sports we dont have significant biological differences like in traditional sports (strenght, speed, resistance etc...)
But Riot and others brands needs good propaganda, so they make only female tournaments and recieve positive feedback about inclusion and other stuff.
Nowadays the female scene have a few really talented players who can compete in male t2 scene, but in my opinion not in t1 scene, i hope in the next years we will se the very firsts female prodigys in Valorant
As can I see if the female scene want to grow, need to export players to the main scene, and make mixed teams, the best girls will can play with one of the best guys and keep improving, if they stay in the female leagues in my point of view they will not grow faster enought to compete against the male scene
