With EMEA Challengers Promotion coming up I’ve tried to do a statistical review of the overall power of the teams using a statistic I have created using a bund of per round stats like KPR with the addition of clutch win rate. I have called this statistic Round Impact Score (RIS for short). So below shows each team in the events RIS as a team along with individual player RIS, players are listed in the order of Duelist, Flex, Initiator (Sova), Controller and Sentinel:
BIG: 0.519
AslaN: 0.533
Obnoks: 0.519
gob b: 0.545
Kaspe: 0.440
Twisten: 0.586
BIG come down as the loser of group A having never won a group this is what causes their Team RIS to be a lot lower compared to the teams coming out of the VRLs. However stand out players for this team are Twisten and gob b, with Twisten being a monster and gob b having the second highest RIS on the team whilst being the teams IGL.
SuperMassiveBlaze: 0.514
Izzy: 0.559
Brave: 0.520
CyderX: 0.464
glovee: 0.467
XiSTOU: 0.558
SMB again suffers from the same problem as BIG for their RIS making them seem like the worst teams in the tournament but Izzy and XiSTOU are proving to be two very good players especially from XiSTOU on the sentinel role.
Excel: 0.623
elllement: 0.657
paTiTek: 0.608
Moe40: 0.654
ozzy: 0.597
chiwawa: 0.601
XL comes out of the Northern VRL beating notable teams like Alliance and Tenstar with the third highest Team RIS of the tournament despite a stacked VRL it will be exciting to see elllement and Moe40 battle with the best of the other VRL’s. Moe40 also comes in as the top-rated initiator player coming into the tournament.
Rebels Gaming: 0.603
jannyXD: 0.637
musashi: 0.600
lyNxi: 0.546
GatsH: 0.579
Vo0kashu: 0.654
Hailing from the most popular VRL of Spain Rebels are a strong team that made the closed qualifiers for EMEA Challengers 1 with a middling Team RIS but vo0kashu has been a standout player with the second highest RIS out of all sentinels in this tournament but with the number one sentinel in their group it might not be enough.
Sector One: 0.586
Goaster: 0.614
KONEQT: 0.549
MARCTYLINHO: 0.593
SHIN: 0.643
iDex: 0.531
Sector One come out of the France and Benelux VRL with an epic reverse sweep against BDS in the final and coming out over other big names like Vitality. Their player with top RIS is SHIN, as the second highest RIS of the controllers, but even he isn’t enough to cause the teams Team RIS to be the lowest out of the teams in the groups.
Surreal Esports: 0.625
Masic: 0.670
jeyj7y: 0.594
RieNs: 0.601
Jlerst: 0.578
Alfajer: 0.683
The second highest Team RIS of the tournament Surreal Esports has the second best duelist by RIS but the top RIS with Alfajer who by the stats is an animal and the engine that has driven this team to the top of Turkey but in what is dubbed the group of death will it be enough against the other teams.
Anynomo Esports: 0.595
xuss: 0.610
maniek: 0.600
snikk: 0.576
kamyk: 0.626
adm1k: 0.564
Anynomo Esports come out of the Polish VRL or rather the East VRL which was comminated by polish teams outside of an upset from Greek team Anorthosis. None of the players really stand out as star players from the numbers and with one of the weaker Team RISs from the VRL teams but they made it out from a strong looking VRL so its all to play for.
FOKUS: 0.614
JUGi: 0.695
YaBoiLewis: 0.600
iluri: 0.532
vong: 0.639
bucher: 0.605
FOKUS had a massive boost in performance when they benched one of their two German players and brought in JUGi who turned up and absolutely dominated the DACH VRL with the highest duelist RIS in the tournament expect FOKUS to be contenders powered by explosive performance from JUGi.
Team Falcons: 0.638
alvar: 0.666
SpYzera: 0.629
Fr4nky: 0.576
Moh: 0.674
OuTLaW: 0.647
With the Highest Team RIS of the tournament, even though Falcons come from what many consider the weakest VRL, they dominated their VRL and should be treated with the respect that the accomplishment deserves, with Moh having the best RIS of all controller in the tournament and the top RIS for his team they have a strong team and it will be great to see MENA play against the rest of EMEA again.
WARNING:
This is better used as comparison between players and teams from the same event as it doesn’t take into comparison the level of opponents they play against, I wanted to get this out before the VRL started to try and hype it up a little but throughout this year I hope to post more stuff using my RIS stat and derivatives of it throughout the year and using results from international tournaments or ones like VRL Promotion develop a reasonable accurate way of accounting for the challenge of the league teams have come from as Falcons is, at least from previous MENA results, not by far the best team of the tournament and the teams that came out of Challengers by far the worst.
