according to this comment by valorant's global esports communication manager, the vct format will most likely be something like 2 groups of 6 with the brackets looking like emea ones, with(my speculation) the top 2(winners of lower bracket finals and upper bracket finals) advancing to the next stage, which might be 4 team double elimination
so the brackets may look something like this:-(most of these are random seeds except g2, prx, guard)
group 1
group 2
and then the teams could go into 4 team double elim like latam playoffs

i dont think thats whats gonna happen

i think it will be 2 groups of 4, double elimination like the groups at champions but only 2 groups instead of 4

then they will go into a double elimination playoff bracket with 8 teams total, 4 from the groups and 4 from the top seeds

I really hope they do something like this and not round robin groups. I dont understand why they chose 12 teams for this event, 12 is such a weird number to host a bracket with. If they had 16 teams ppl would be happier cuz more teams get to go and bracket would be much easier to make.
