your point is dumb saying you aren't trying to disrespect japanese people when you say "yet they do dogshit in LAN tournament" you could just rephrase it to "how come japan has a huge playerbase but don't perform as well as other regions in LAN?" Short answer is they're behind in the FPS scene and they will catch up soon as already their top team ZETA are looking better than SEA teams

If they have funding, they should try boot camping in EU or NA. Their region is too small to be competitive

I don't think JP playerbase is small since their viewership always huge (maybe they only watch but don't play but its weird). The reason is most of them first time play this genre, lot of JP pros come from PUBG, Overwatch etc
