No one believes they are top 2 for sure but you cannot deny them top 5 or even top 3, they performed exceptionally well for the position they were put in and although the team and players were new as a whole wippie is a star player in the coming and was known as a talent on chaos with vanity before so jammyz had big shoes to fill in and although he played well I have no doubt wippie would have played better. Also, their preparation was probably better than any other NA team would have done other than sentinels, I don't know if I could see c9/NV/100t beating liquid the way that they did by fooling them.

V1 = Top 2-3 vanity's attitude towards the game will lead this team to a long and healthy place at the top of the game.

All the respect in the world goes out to jammyz and V1 for flying him out on barely a weeks notice and filling the role quite well especially considering he's only had t2 experience up until that point

If were going down this route, then liquid is also not top 2 in europe. They fluked into the finals because there was no loser's bracket in EMEA qualifiers and EMEA tournament itself. Heck, if loser's bracket didn't exist in NA qualifiers then sentinels would not even be here today either.

a lot of people haven't realized this, imagine NA without Sentinels lmao, just like us without FPX which strats were used a lot in iceland (or other teams who were strong but not as hyped up)

I don't think V1 will be that good in the future once they nerf the post plant meta. Also Vanity won't be that good after the judge nerf which hopefully comes.

Judge is hypocritical, but I’ve seen FNC, TL, NU, win eco rounds mainly cause of the judge it goes both ways.

Ye I agree with you, I don’t see FNC using judges, but I’m saying that it’s not only v1 is going to be affected if there is a judge nerf cause others use it.

I still believe V1 will be good as they adjust back to there main roster and finalize it, they were known in NA as the meta adapters said my s0m.

V1 adapted to the meta the fastest which severely helped them quali for iceLAN, doubt they will make it to berlin. They are a good team but NA is hella stacked theyd need some luck and new strats

The overall outcome could be only worse with wippie but not better than what we have seen from V1 in this Tournament
