Thoughts on Nuturn?

How well do you guys think they can match up against the EU teams?

Imo, if everyone shows up it can be a competitive game like the V1 game.

Better than TL and FNC

The biggest flaw for Nuturn is they are trash on Icebox and Haven, literally. On Ascent they are okay! and there strats and strengths lie in Split and Bind but they have not kept up with the meta. Hence they are not up there with the NA and EU teams.

I think they peaked against V1. They have still secured 3rd position for their region, which is excellent. Japan and Korea was non-existent in FPS space and the first LAN event they show up in, ends up earning them a 3rd rank and a better result than Japan, SEA and LATAM/Brazil, even when last two regions have been there in CSGO for a long time. I don't think they have a chance against any of the teams they play up against, either Liquid or Fanatic.

Extremely exploitable team in terms of map pool, where teams essentially get a free map on the board, whether that be Icebox or Haven. They have strong mental as a team though, so you can never really count them out, unless they lose their own map pick. I think they've made it as far as they could, and either TL or fnatic beat them.

they got the luckiest bracket

I think they play amazing Valorant. They don't have the greatest skills yet they have great team chemistry and work together well. I also think they are the most tactically sound team on the maps they play, they have very nice use of utility as well. their map pool isn't that great but so far its a fixable problem

I would say they have decent strats, clean executes but their aim wise/skills are not on par with top EU/NA teams (except Suggest/Lakia)
