regions still dead. I only speak reality. Low viewership and playerbase. Little to none real big org investments. 60% of the real good players are in japan. Most of the teams playing in the group stages besides the top 3 are all clearly tier 2 in korea. Obv doesnt mean they’re bad or anything. But still needs more support

You're downvoted but you're actually right. The region needs more support and outside of ONS, DK, and DRX the other teams are indeed T2.

The difference is that we have 3 tier 1 teams from the previous 2 last year (Nuturn and VS), we have a better format so the absolute top 2 teams attend Masters, and we have a new big org with good results to incentivise other big orgs to look into the scene.

The playerbase is growing. Slowly. But surely. A lot of good Korean talent has gone to Japan, but that doesn't mean Korean talent is never going to grow. LCK mids were poached by the LPL, but we still produce some of the best players in the world. As long as our scene is around, we can still churn out top tier players.
