Kay/o is a tier agent.

Kay/o is without a doubt one of the best agents in the game and is played by most pro teams on most maps. Kay/o’s knife has so much value getting info and cancels abilities which is strong against chamber/jet/Astra meta right now. I feel most teams who play against a Kay/o while not playing Kay/o is an uphill battle. Opinions? ( title ment to say s tier)

To me it feels like when Astra was first becoming meta teams that pick him are going to succeed whereas teams who don’t will fall off.

kay/o is a really fun agent to play honestly
he synergises rly well with a lot of other high impact agents like astra and breach, in a way he’s more an enabler rather than an initiator and using his ult right is basically a free site

add his pop flashes and molly for entry delay or post plant and you have possibly one of the most versatile agents in the game

For me his knife brings most value. You can get it twice a round and is good for start of round and retake.

In the Sen vs optic match the amount of jet knives/sova ults/chamber weapons suppressed by optic’s kay/o is insane. Really lessers the chance of thriftys

my bad on that one
i just meant that kay/o isnt that great at setting up frags like breach with his stun for example, which is what you can expect from initiators like skye with her dog as well, poor choice of words there.

sova and kayo are similar aside from how kay/o has a little more flexibility than being delegated to just info :D hope that clears up my point a bit

honestly, they are not that different, all initiators help you set your duelists or teammates for frags, and are also useful getting map control and coordinating site hits. Maybe breach and skye can be more forward because they have stuns, but that doesn't mean that sova and kay/o cant do that too

agreed, i just feel that its easier for my teammate to kill someone thats blind/dazed instead of someone thats flashing orange every other second

but you’re right, they all do share that ability :D

I think fracture is Kay/o’s worst map I still think breach is the better initiator. I think all other maps are good for him though
