because of hispanic fanbase, i have no hopes in this team this year. At least i still have cs to watch B)
They've never ever kept a player for his fanbase nor will they put one before results and they won't hesitate to cut them.
Why did they even bench him in 1st place? They don't need that "clout", you already got content creators for that
The only reason that comes to mind is that players (more specifically nukkye & keloqz) haven't figured out a way to solve their problems yet.
When i saw mixwell coming back i was expecting him to come back as sentinel not replacing keloqz how is this going to work?
i see many problems with any alternative to be honest:
- meddo is a "relatively" good cypher/killjoy (i'm a bit skeptical about his permormance in G2 so far, but i'd say he is still better and more experienced player than mixwell with these 2 agents) but he is literally incapable of playing with another agent. His lack of flexibility is a problem for G2.
- keloqz is a liability for G2, on a good day, he plays so good, but the majority of the times he feed a lot with jett, that's probably why nukkye gets so upset with him
- mixwell is not a bad player, but he isn't a superstar either, people want a flashy jett players like keloqz on his good days
so, it doesn't matter which player G2 chooses, there is always cons for it
- meddo isn't a good sentinel in general i've been watching this dude against t1 teams and the stuff he does sometimes makes him look like an immortal player.
- keloqz is only gonna improve he's not a team player rn but i believe he will shine in the right team, but true for g2 he's sometimes a liability
- mixwell will a 100% play a better sentinel than meddo and he can play other agents bcz he's smart
- building of the past matches mixwell on jett was disappointing so i would still go for keloqz
i would put my chances on trusting keloqz to play mostly good instead of going another season with mixwell not performing on jett and a bad sentinel player
and true there is always cons but..... shouldn't it be about reducing them?
it is all about reducing the cons indeed, but i'm afraid G2 is already a lost cause. No matter which players they choose to field, they will always have a ton of issues:
- Meddo can't play other agent that isn't cypher/kj, even when he plays kj he don't convince me much, this is making G2's comps so misserable and out of meta on many maps
- They needed a proper Sova on the team and they instead brough hoody, a flex player, great job if u ask me
- They are putting the best player in the team, nukkye, as a Sova IGL, he would be perfect as the flex/second duelist player. Putting him on IGL duties is bringing him down.
- They keep kicking the wrong players over and over again.
- Keloqz was and is still a gamble, you never know if he is going to play well or not
- They now have to kick again some more players, to be precise, the players that they just brought to the team kekw (if they want to perform well again, of course) (update: they already released keloqz, which in my opinion is a good choice)
- Avova has been underperforming sometimes lately too, but this is a minor issue I guess
yeah also with avova he has been underperforming for some reason, last year he was one of the best smokers eu
I really thought if the berlin team would have stuck together and worked everything out they would have been one of the best teams in EMEA

Kolda did a pretty good job igling and everyone had their moments
sure he didnt play good but they didnt win a single game in closed quals with mixwell while keloqz played pretty well during open and closed qual and
2 weeks ago against fnatic
because nukkye will play jett/ main duelist . mixwell might play chamber on some map but probably fill sova or sentinel whatever reqd + mixwell will help in igling
