My previous thread regarding VCC season 1, 2022

So far the teams which qualified for the playoffs are what everybody thought of.

I think everyone will agree with the improvement in EG and the dominance they showed in this season. Previously I thought that EG was a dark horse going into this, but clearly now they are the best team in SA and will be the #1 seed into APAC playoffs.
After the playoff match of VLT vs GE with VLT winning the match, I think it is clear that VLT is better than GE and can come up with the same result again for the moment. Hoping they qualify cause I'm rooting for them. #VLTFTW :3
It looks like GE will not be able to qualify for the APAC playoffs this time as they're not in their element and with kappa maintaining an impressive -K/D, it's very tough on the others. Unless SkRossi hard carries his team like last time, it is highly unlikely.
Team Exploit is pretty good but they seem to lack firepower in their roster which will be the case for them not qualifying for the APAC playoffs this time too.

I would love to read your thoughts for the upcoming Grand Finals starting from Feb 25th at 2:00 pm IST.

I hope that doesn't happen. Not becuz I hate GE, but cuz I hate seeing Rossi feeling the need to win every duel by himself and overpeeking everytime.

I love the team, but I don't want them qualifying so that they make some hard changes in the team so that they will succeed, or else they are just wasting the players time.

i remember seeing him once dash out of haven garage without any flashes or util to help him, only to be greeted by 4 players with drawn pistols.

he tends to take a lot of fights without any util helping him which sometimes works out, but the other times they end up losing the round

It's just that he never got a real chance to try other agents. He tries Raze here and there but the teams playstyle kinda forces him on Jett

Nah, he would be good at it but he plays Chamber, it would be the most silent passive match GE would ever play. Cuz noone can take duels with confidence other than Rossi and LF

not many top tier teams, just the top 4 (EG, VLT, GE, TE) are tier 1 in SA
it is prolly going to have the same outcome as I mentioned at the end of the thread

Enigma Gaming (EG) was always a top 4 team in India, but with recent addition of Excali (amazing flex player) and coach yb, they have improved a lot and are currently the best team in SA.
Team Exploit was pretty good with Storax (an amazing player) during VCC 2021, but after he left the team for some reasons, their firepower has dropped significantly and are just doing okay for the moment.

I was actually surprised by how good Khumbu played. I feel like with more time and practice, they have potential to be a tier 1 team in SA

Opinions from an unbiased South Asian Valorant observer :

Enigma is going to grab that 1st seed (Well this is for certain)
TE will surprise everyone,mark my words,VLT is probably going to to lose against them ,They got a coach too now ,we can't expect what they'll pull off . (Anyways looking forward for Shooter vs Deathmaker 😋)
Global eSports is an ended hope, they're going to disappoint their fans again (Unless Kappa activates his god mode and come to his prime form ,they ain't going to win against VLT in the semi final matchup)
PS : If anyone from GE management is reading this ,please get Rossi a Gaming chair. His back must've been hurting with all that carrying he does in that office chair

If you observe in the last few months ,when they didn't have a coach,they were struggling against teams like Valor ,but they got better with the new coach,his impact is visible in their recent performances

#3 VLT
#4 GE
but then again if VLT doesn't choke and DM goes beast mode again then they could take 2nd spot or If Kappa maintains 1 K/D then GE takes the 2nd slot

die hard ge fan but don't want them to qualify so they can finally do some changes
eg vs vlt would be a banger but imo eg gonna win
