although he didn’t play jett “correctly,” he could carry on her. so much more mobility with updrafts, and instant dash without being in range of a TP. he’s fine on chamber and plays that role well, but it’s not enough to carry obviously.

xset and other top teams still use Jett to OP, I even saw Cryo using the OP on attack sometimes. if chamber isn’t meta for Tier 1 competition over the next month, then wardell should go back to jett imo.

TSM also had more success with Wardell Jett than Wardell chamber. Corey Jett isn't as potent

exactly, wardell jett crutched tsm to top 8 by the end of last year. chamber obviously doesn’t have that potential. wardell with chamber ult is fkin scary though.

also, wardell can rifle now if he just trusts himself. he used to rifle a fair amount in Stage 1 and 2, so the OP “crutch” must have really taken off in Stage 3. if he can rifle well enough to entry then jett is the move.

i remember mitch picking up an OP from the TSM Academy jett during a match a few months ago. he then shit on them for the rest of the half with it.

corey is great on raze/reyna so ur right. idk why ppl think he doesn’t entry. i watched all the matches but maybe i missed something. he seemed hella aggressive at the right times to me. he doesn’t have many first deaths because subroza typically does that before TSM regroups to hit site.

Honestly could work better if Corey works on entrying. Subroza is the only one aggressive enough (might be too aggressive tho) so far to assist with Wardells Chamber.

there’s another issue though, if wardell is on jett then rossy has to fill the sentinel role. not all maps need a sentinel (bind, split, icebox), but TSM has to completely rework their comp on maps that do need a KJ.

Yes this is a big flaw
TSM don't have a dedicated sentinel player and Wardell can't play KJ or Cypher in a million years

Corey needs to entry frag better. Throughout the open quals I didn't see him dash into a site once
And yes Roza is mostly the first one making contact as Astra or Skye which is not optimal

But I think Wardell does his job well on Chamber

i have to disagree on corey, i watched every match and he did entry well. more effectively on raze, sure, but he dashed in on jett too. that’s why his stats were so bad on her lol. and he didn’t get many first kills or deaths because subroza was fking all those stats up during the defaults before hitting sites.

maybe we looked at the broadcasts in different ways so idk, just my humble opinion.

You could be right I didn't watch the matches in much detail but I spoke based on what I saw so maybe I'm wrong
But I still think Corey on Jett needs to entry frag better because Roza made much more first contacts than Corey
Check the past 30 day stats for Corey and Roza
Corey has 0.15 FKPR on Jett while Roza has 0.2 FKPR on Astra
