well, i'm sure they didn't want to be at the receiving end of death threats either
but ignoring completely insignificant death threats am i right? who cares about that
i'm not saying it's your guys' fault, but the fact that you keep bringing up illogical arguments to justify why you deserve un-proportionally more than other regions who have performed far better, have far more investment, and have proven with far more success at international events. when someone brings up a justified and evidently backed argument why Brazil should not deserve as many slots for simply getting clapped in groups and having slim viewership, you guys flock in hordes to justify why Brazil needs more
but BR have only one server, is Sao Paulo1 too.
Why you think BR still not good right now? Simple, because you need to live in Sao Paulo to have a 3-10 ping to play decent, because in Immortal lobby everyone is from South. 3-10 ping too strong against someone 70-90 ping from North.
Korea is a minor region as well, low player count, not big streamers, I never seen some korean playing Valorant with 2k+ views, but in BR or any other region people can get 30k views easily. That's what matter too, probably 2 slots will be MAX for Korea. I'm sure KR will receive one more when they change format to 24 teams, if not, KR+JP will be 2 slots.
It's 1 for BR, 2 for the LCQ that includes the whole LATAM.
So, in the end all you're trying to say is "LATAM sucks since no team other than KRU will qualify in the LCQ so there's 2 free slots to BR" without saying the rest of LATAM is worst than Brazil.
But I get your narrative, it's easier to point fingers and make the "Brazil sucks and shouldn't get slots, Bron71l sucks hahahah" posts, since they will get you the funny imaginary points on the internet.
Utter bs. BR are practically handed 3 slots on a silver platter. Just like last champions, they fought through blood sweat and tears through such a competitive region to win a bonus 2 lcq slots and just like last time, they will have 3 uncompetitive teams who get knocked out in group stages once again.
What is this screwed up logic? Look at the numbers, look at past performance, why are you so afraid to address the truth that Brazil has been performing pretty horrifically in the international stage? The amount of opportunity they are given to play on the international stage is no way justifiable, especially considering there are other regions who have consistently performed better than Brazil and are still getting less international recognition by Riot.
1 - How do you know we have the smallest server population in the word?
2 - We only have 1 server too
3 - Our viewership has an average 20-30k per stream and we barely had t1 organizations with teams in valorant and now orgs like nip, loud (who brought a huge viewership and new players) and Los grandes (again another freefire organization who were putting 20-40k in their match at closed qualifies).
And actually there is a map that can show the true proportions, here is The BR next to Europe:
https://prnt.sc/26k9ylk
Here is BR next to USA:
https://prnt.sc/26k9zea
Here is BR next to China:
https://prnt.sc/26k9zle
Here is Russia next to BR:

Every map you showed here is a rough aproximation, it still isn't an exact map, because, again, by a mathematical statement, "perfect" maps for a 2D surface of a sphere don't exist.
And yes, Brazil is very big, but I don't understand what are you trying to say with that.
I agree that "EMEA is half of the words" is a debatable statement, but it is still massive enough in playerbase to be given only 3 spots
I don't see it as a problem, it makes competition greater and the only ones that goes to masters are the greatest teams.
Probably in BR will happen the same, with VK going or Loud. No matter wich one goes we will be well represented.
Not what heppened in the last masters where the 2° seed kinda sucked.
I think this post explain very well the thing that I'm trying to say:
https://www.vlr.gg/67254/server-population-compared-to-slots
Even if we doesn't have big population as you guys in servers is just because we are 3rd world countrys, kinda funny asking for population when most of Brazil can't even afford a PC and puts Insane numbers of viewship in every match. Literally an Org that didn't even qualify for the Closed putted 40k+ in viewship. And Loud that played against MIBR putted 200K+ in total of views of the match in twitch.
If BR was a developed country we would probably put even Greater Numbers. But BR get nerfed as a hole for mf and idiots that are always in power.
I'm not saying anything against Brazil as a region
All I'm saying is that 2 spots is more than enough to be well represented. I mean, look at it this way: you are getting roughly the same spots (3) as Europe+CIS+TR+Africa+Middle East man
What about North Africa and Middle East "rights" to be represented? What about turkey? What about CIS? What about europe as an independent region?
Literally you answered your own question, Europe has Teams as a Hole.
We don't ask about
"What about Uruguay? What about Chile, what about Argentina, what about Mexico?"
In our region only the top Teams play, If SA were more populated even in that way wouldn't matter because the only ones that classify are the top Teams.
What question am I answering?
Europe doesn't have teams as a whole because we are sharing spots with Turkey, CIS, North Africa and Middle East! That's precisely what I'm saying!
Why 4 for BR+LATAM but not 2 for Europe, 2 for CIS, 2 for TR, 2 for North Africa or 2 for Middle East?!
You are defending YOUR spots but not the ones for other regions. All you said to me was something like: in Brazil we have worse infrastructure so we deserve every single one of the spots. Hmmkay man
I understand your frustration but this map is very misleading, greenland for being 2 million sq.km. has only 56k people living on it and apac has india and china in it. these 2 countries combines have a population of 2.5 billion. and you compete with people in an e-sport not with how big the region is geographically.
