G2 won everything when Valorant was new and most teams were bad. And Berlin run G2 had mastermind Koldamenta, best EU controller player Avova, and both nukkye and keloqz who were on fire during Berlin. Mixwell wasn't their winning factor. Still respect to him for being one of the biggest EU Valorant personalities.

so, this is my thought:

they lost against t2 team, so the ceo think they need changes.
why? because mixwell role is jett. let's be honest, keloqz >> mixwell on jett.
so, why they dropped mixwell? why not just move him to different role? like controller or sentinels?
i think it's because pipson (coach & igl for G2) want hoody & meddo stayed while nukkye & avova are irreplaceable.

finally, the result told them that it's a good decision.

they obv had problems with keloqz like nukkye mentioned but if he has fixed them then i see keloqz being like the d3ffo for g2, super consistent and reliable fragger. just not on cned's level yet.
