Se falar que um jogador europeu ou americano é o melhor do mundo = opinião relevante, se falar que Mwzera ou Sacy são os melhores = opinião estupida. É engraçado mesmo, porra olha a história que a gente ja construiu no CSGO, R6, Crossfire, PB, etc, e os caras simplesmente ignoram isso e colocam o Brasil como uma região completamente pequena que deveria ter os slots divididos com Latam pra Berlin, é impressionante, desde 2016 nossos jogadores e times dominam o cenário NA de CS e nós sempre conseguimos as vagas nos qualify por mérito, por termos os melhores times e os melhores jogadores, os caras foram eliminados por nós diversas vezes de maneira vexatória e ficam subestimando, xD.

For esports, in order to have a big playerbase you need a population with a big middle class, households that can afford computers. Furthermore, you need PC gaming to be popular in contrast to consoles.

Tldr: China, Europe and Korea have the best infastructure for a prospering esports scene. NA ppl are brainlets and Brazilians are catching up.

I agree, imagine if Brazil had the same money and infrastructure as NA, if with very few resources we have already achieved a lot, imagine with more. In my opinion NA has a mediocre performance taking into account the money and salary that players receive, you can see by the performance in League of Legends, Perkz and Zven receive +200k/mo USD in salary to have ridiculous performances in an international championship. Sacy and Mwzera do not receive more than 2k/mo USD in salary and look at how much they perform and produce, it is ridiculous.

NA is not even mediocre. In an investment to success scale, they are the worst region by far, in almost every esport. Anyway, they don't care about success in esports, they treat it like entertainment, all they care about is getting views on youtube and selling hoodies.

Moreover, yes, brazil has done wonders with the cards they've been dealt with. In CS and R6.

console gaming is more popular in the US and you consider high-level esports to be easy to maintain, posting videos on youtube and making a brand attractive to buyers is much easier and more profitable than competing for a reason yknow...
