There is HEAVY upset potential in this where Acend And KRU could take this , Acend and liquid were saving stuff in redbull and still it was HELLA close , i think it could go either way but maybe Acend can upset Liquid
KRU vs GMB - Obviously , KRU has been on a hot streak , taking down titans, gambit have been struggling a bit tho , if KRU wins it will be a 2-1, KRU can and prob will pull it out cuz they have the momentum so they will prep Hard as fuck
KRU can actually take down Gambit but you're forgetting something about Gambit, they adapt too fast and also their mental is on some other level. The fact that their slow playstyle suddenly changes to fast if it is required then they just play a mix of both makes them kinda difficult to take down. But honestly I wouldn't be surprised if KRU does manage to win against Gambit. Either way it will be hell of a game.
Gambit is struggling, but they are also the team everyone is trying to prepare against. Being able to reach the semi-finals (even though they are close games) shows how good Gambit is despite everyone having more information. However, I think KRU will win because they have so much momentum atm.
I think the TL/ACE series will come down to whether TL is willing to ban Bind. We have yet to see Fracture from both teams, so I'm hoping Fracture goes through the bans.
Ye but imo Gambits tactical and slow approach might fry KRU's brains out js. As for ACE vs TL , Ace does have a chance but tbh overall liquid just team diffs the fuck out of Acend , If TL loses it will be because of soulcas and L1nk underperforming , but if these 2 are fulfilling their roles in this game , TL team diff 100% > Acend
but fnatic was considered the worst eu team coming into champions not acend, like yea liquid was hyped but i dont think anyone thinks its a "surprise" if acend wins or if liquid wins which is why I didnt agree with the whole "upset" idea only KRU beating top teams counts as an upset anything else is just a proven team beating another proven team. My point is, you are wrong to include the liquid vs acend matchup when the topic involves "Upset".
