I understand the frustration about this kid, but the hate is just too much, in my opinion. The kid never played yoru in T2 if I'm correct? And now that yoru is meta he needed to adjust big time with the role. It is way different from what he used to play in pro matches back when he was competing in the tier 2 scene in PH, his jett and neon are mostly his comfort agent picks, while raze is okay. Also, the hype never came from the kid himself, but from the people like juvenile and the GE management. The best way to see this kid's potential is to put him in his comfort agents, and don't judge him that quickly based on 2 matches from 2 different teams. Save the judgments later once he is finally able to use his comfort agents where he excels the most.

I have the same thought he maybe underperforming because he is not playing his comfort pick

Most duelists in VCT haven’t played yoru before this year, he just struggling with it more compared to others, just more practice and he’ll be fine

iirc during his twitch stream, he told his chat that the only duelist he doesn't really like to play is yoru even in ranked and this is when he just got signed by GE. Hope he can adjust during this meta and get his confidence back.

I just don't think he should be playing yoru if he's this uncomfortable. it looked like a 4v5 for a majority of the rounds, half of the time he was just messing around with his utility and carless about positioning and literally not shooting back. should just keep him on comfort picks until he develops smth else

GE always struggled to every meta
like last year
they were able to adapt only one map icebox where they beat majority good teams
and this year its very unbalanced
sometimes they perform well and somtimes they get fucked up
like they have potenial to adapt
just idk whats there future

I'd like to Thank you from the bottom of my heart for actually putting out this post, I'm a die hard GE fan and have been so.

I know what Patrick is capable of, There's a reason even UdoTan or any other Pro player wasn't put on duelists after the trials.

Yoru ofcourse isn't his agent, never was, He's having a hard time to adjust.

Also, the thing with Patrick is, In his head, he's always like I'm the best in this game, I have to do some hero play and win this, I need to be the best one out there and let my fans be happy. Like, he has this insane super high expectations from himself and when he doesn't hit that, it hits him hard.

So let's just please go easy on him, That Kid is amazing and time will let everyone know. ❤️🙌🏻
