To be fair... GE was clapping everyone's cheeks last year and this year before kickoffs so...
Doesn't really tell much

GENG can translate the results onto stage, stop comparing the two teams. Also kick off geng had bad scrims so this is a good sign

Yk who else was good on scrims
SEN 23
Scrims don't really mean anything win or lose
Not saying they can't win but if they do, it won't be because they won in scrims

IDGAF bout them teams. Im speaking from gengs POV. When solo and hsk are big scrim believers I think they know what they talking bout. Scrims have about 50% worth, if their winrate is around 90% i think thats a good sign. AS crazy as it is, this only applies to few teams, some teams just cant translate their scrims onto stage iykyk

I mean I expect GenG to do good
They still have Karon, Munchkin and T3xture
Just don't go in blind trusting scrims.

Solo in the recent coach episode has mentioned if they win scrims it is possible that they will be able convert it into win on stage so for a few teams it matters

did you see GE play yesterday? They did scrims with Patrick

They were actually losing a big chunk of scrims with Patrick and winning with Deryeon
Exactly my point that you can't judge a team based on scrims

no hate to geng but, the 2 new players are not enough for them to win against good teams

Paper rex need to step up, considering yesterdays match they did well ( not their best ) but there are hell lotta problems on defence + idk how they even won with that triple initiator comp on icebox , but considering they played against apacs 2nd best and worlds 4th best team, they need to push a lil bit ( considered worlds 4th best soley based on MB PLS NOT HURT ME )

Not gonna lie, PRX does better than what I could imagine. They got their crazy attacking power(kinda) but flops on the defensive side (like 2022 PRX?).
I do thinks they could get to Toronto if they fix the defensive issues without losing that attacking power. And also, if given enough time for something TO LEARN HOW TO SUPPORT TEAMMATE WITH UTILITY, maybe they could do better than 2024.

True , u can't expect the same 2023 version but smwhere close to that is fine

IDK about 2023. The combination of luck, new roster, and unstable power level of the agents meta kinda make that crazy gameplay of PRX works.
Maybe if the force something to learn other duelist like Yoru, or Iso and then go back to double duelist, they could get the same result as 2023.(Or just make something play chamber on certain map)
On the other hand, David ability to help his teammates kinda killed by the Skye nerf. Idk about that one, I'm not good enough at initiator to know what agent could substitute that same amount of impact like skye
