Why do some brazilians refuse to speak english? Its kinda cringe
Because we can't?
Even if we do It's really hard to translate accurate some words also "typing" doesn't have emotion
If you're not Brazilian you can feel attacked by our words lol
Brazilians way to speak to friends is like "Hello asshole how are u" but nobody in brazil would be affected by these words because it's common here.
ok so, the fact is: the vast majority of portuguese replies on twitter is because
1) people are doing memes/copypasta/trolling and don't care if the author of replied tweet will undersand or not, they just want engagement with other br
2) they don't want to speak english and expect people use translate button
3) they really can't speak english and expect people use translate button
