I remember all the Sen fans being so hype about it as well and it confused me so much as to why anyone would be they happy over Shroud joining their Valorant
This was truly the clout org era of Sentinels and they were playing into it so much...

I think that was simply to gain viewership and supporters that's all

cuz shroud is a big streamer and he was genuinely good at the game regardless of just being a casual ranked radiant player, not good enough for the team tho

shroud -> more clout -> more viewership-> more engagement -> more money -> rito happy -> give a franchising contract
