T2 this off season

Been seeing a lot more teams lose to t2 teams this off season than ever before is t2 finally improving?

they have improved and tier 1 teams have not been together long enough to be in form like they are at mid year, so it gives them a chance.

I really wanna see more things like this Tixinha tournament, where split 3 of tier 2 qualifies to a mixed tier 1 and tier 2 tournament

Riot could maybe even make it official (i.e. something they themselves run, like Spotlight for example), and for every major region (as I currently understand it, it's done by a streamer and is only Riot sanctioned)

I mean the skill gap significantly decreases every year
