Is it even good? I mean why is viper just not the superior pick in every way? You used to be able to smoke off A main with omen oneway but now that you cant what the point? What advantages does it abuse that make double dome smokes viable

edg hype got everyone trippin + clove is easier to pick up for a non smokes than viper

yeah for edg it worked regardless but for other teams that dont play viper the edg lotus comp is easy to pick up and play role wise

yeah most teams should but edg did very well with a tailor made comp. key aspect is most teams are not edg

It should only work for EDG, EDG didnt want Smoggy to play any more chamber so they let him play clove instead. Clove is a great agent for smoggy since he shoots back , has good aim, and he can aggress and smoke for his teammates if he dies. Also clove isnt a replacement for viper, clove acts like the senti in their comp and more teams prefer double initiator picks on maps

Alright understood, do you know why double dome smokes are still good tho? Since geng started running it and it worked on abyss as well for edg. I just dont see why characters with the same ability work well with each other

From FPXs gameplay (Which is a team that provides smokes ability alot) likes to take map control a lot with their dome smokes
But after the neon buff teams prefer to provide util for their duelist to kill with double initiator comps
Abyss is another map that mid control is fairly important in my opinion
