This is Flyquest's first year at the GCC, although some of their players had made it to the previous year's iteration under the Evil Geniuses GC Evil Geniuses GC Inactive PowerPixele Nora Lorri Lorrian Elad StarBound theia Melisa Mundorff banner. It was Xipto's core who, under Team SMG GC Team SMG GC Inactive enerii Odella Abraham Alexy Alexy Francisco shirazi Kelly Jaudian Kamiyu Camille Enriquez then, accidentally locked in four duelists and still ended up defeating the EG roster quite convincingly.

The series commenced on Xipto‘s pick, Pearl, where both teams opted for a double duelist composition. Despite winning both pistols, Flyquest only found one more round on attack to be down 9-3. The second pistol round was all they found in the second half, with Xipto taking the win 13-4.

Enerii doesn't need more than a classic.

While dodonut fragged throughout the game, the rest of Flyquest looked quieter compared to the team-wide performance coming in from the Pacific representative, especially Tara who found several crucial multi-kills throughout the map.

Map two, Sunset, saw both teams go neck and neck. Both teams won four buy rounds in a row to tie things up at 6-6. However, after round 14, Flyquest won seven rounds in a row to push the series to a map three with a 13-8 win. Two 4Ks from dodonut as well as an ACS of 378 helped them comfortably win it.

Dodonut's Neon dominated the second half.

Split once again saw a tug of war with Flyquest winning the pistol but Xipto picked up their pace with a four round streak once they had a full buy. Flyquest ended the half 6-6 and pushed their lead to 9-3 with three round wins, winning five of the six pistols today. However, Xipto ramped up big time on their defense side with both Tara and shirazi ensuring Flyquest struggled to enter sites. Xipto rode the momentum wave to series point at 12-10, but Flyquest were able to push it to overtime. Xipto however had their opponent's number by then, getting to match point first twice and eventually winning 15-13 to advance in the upper bracket.

Alexy and Kamiyu make a 3v5 round look easy.

Xipto looked strong as a team, with both Alexy and Enerii having 200+ ACS and enerii consistently finding first kills. However, Flyquest seemed to have a slower start and despite dodonut's standout performance, appeared less decisive compared to their opponents. Xipto maintains their flawless record of zero series losses this year.

“We go see, go kill,” remarked Alexy in the post-match interview when asked about their strategy.
