Okay I know we have lots of Emo people in here but am I wrong in saying that XXXTENTACION got soooo overhyped after his passing?
Like mfs be putting him in the GOAT conversation and shit
Not the first time, same with JuiceWRLD and a certain person in a different field who I won't risk saying the names because they too popular
I am not saying they are bad at their arts but people need to stop saying dumbass things like "XXXTENTACION never had a bad song" or "JUICEWRLD is the GOAT of melodic hip hop"
It's like people suddenly start hallucinating

both were great, both were unique, and both died too young

lowk biggest problem with music is everyone fucking yapping and crying about numbers instead of just listening to what they like

id say theyre fairly rated now because only actual fans listen to these songs and its not mainstream anymore
in terms of musicality id genuinely say both deserve the hype because theyre actually talented ppl unlike many in the industry
