Clove over Brimstone ?!?!

I'm comparing these two controllers becaus in my eyes they are very similiar but yet one is much better than the other one . But ofc the worse of these two is faaaar more popular (at least in solo queue)and I don't get it why.What is the reason anybody picks Clove over Brimstone ? Brimstone has much better molly, more smokes that last longer, better ulti.
Clove selfheal is only situational, her ulti is meh but can from time to time produce a good result but nothing fantastic. I just don't get it guuuuuuys.

in soloq its cos she has the most reyna like kit and ppl play her if they need to fill smokes. u can carry on clove but u cant on brim
in proplay its cos she has rechargeable smokes, brim doesnt. shes picked on lotus solely cos she can continuously one way c-long

Because Clove is not considered a fully pledged controller as Brimstone many people consider Clove as a simi duelist simi controller and Brimstone is only good in maps like Fracture and bind and for other maps we have better options then them

Clove is a duelist with smokes and can smoke when dead too + overheal, brim is only good on bind because you just site hit, brim is pretty useless when his smokes run out
