How the relegation from franchising work and what if theres no ascension team that end up in the bottom 4? Who will got relegated?
I think its unfair to relegate ascension teams that fought tooth and nails for their spot while team like dfm and ge still bing chillin

if an ascension team makes champs they stay for another year

if an ascension team makes playoffs they playoo against the top eight in ascension

if an ascension team doesnt make any of those 2 they get relegated to challengers.

dfm and ge will continue to stay until 2027 when contracts are to be renewed

for now until 2027 but teams that made ascension can become franchised teams in 2027 since certain orgs might be kicked or give up their spot. i see an org like g2 becoming a franchised org since they truly invest in the valorant scene
