are any of the teams even good enough for tier 1? Last year TL got apeks core and they got completely destroyed

this Apeks team are much better than last years but the other ascension teams are better this year

apeks got picked apart though so its hard to tell (Itopata did end up getting 3rd at champs if thats worth anything)

we knew m8 was going to struggle going in (just based on some very extreme rumors regarding their scrims during the offseason)

In general any team that ascends is going to struggle in emea a bit since we have the arbitrary region locks. But Im pretty confident that if one of the teams that play "normal" valorant (e.g. apeks, gonext, JL) ascends, they can end up in the middle of the table next year
Making it to international is going to be borderline impossible. Though tbf that realistically is the case for m80 too with how they played this year but I aint talking shit after g2.
