bruh i didn’t get to properly appreciate the massive milestone edg broke because i was too busy focusing on the sen th match but holy SHIT edg FINALLY is starting to make waves for china and i deadass could not be more excited, they were so far beyond due it’s crazy
legitimately i though replacing haodong with simon was a troll but it seems as though nobody’s calling is spot on in many situations, like there were some rounds where he called absolute perfection (kingg had a bad game calling-wise but still it was an edg masterclass all around) and it was such a pleasure to watch
domestically chichoo has been very lackluster but this guy has stepped the fuck up. he was a MONSTER this match alongside smoggy who personally i think is the #1 controller in the world atm, so i think one of those two will be the mvp of the event if they end up winning champs
kk is up there too although he wasn’t as flashy, but holy fuck this guy is back, his playstyle especially when he awps is actually enchanting to watch, like i’ve never seen someone aim like this guy and im so glad to see this guy back on top. i knew after tokyo 2023 this guy would see the top of the world one day and im excited to see that he has the chance
s1mon has been a little slow this event but when he’s online he is a demon, he has what i think is the best breach in the world and honestly also might have the best kayo in the world. not rookie of the year imo but still so fucking good like idk how edg found this guy but he is perfect for their playstyle
i dunno man im just so happy to see edg back at the top after such a massive slump this year, they deserve all their flowers and i think that even if they don’t win champs they should absolutely run it back, i wanna see more of this roster play
