#1 Champions 2023 - Every team was at their peak this tournament and arguably the most entertaining LAN in Valorant.
#2 Champions 2022 - Same with 2023 every team was at their peak and straight entertainment game after game.
#3 Masters Copenhangen - First LAN with a crowd so every team wanted to win. FPX lower bracket run. Teams making insane upsets. It was anyones trophy this LAN.
#4 Masters Berlin - SEN had competition in NV and GMB. Insane comebacks fro 100T. Almost every game super entertaining and close (except for GMB games)
#5 Masters Shanghai - A lot of teams looked very good. FPX insane. 100T insane. PRX insane. GEN.G insane. Several other teams looked very good. I feel like it was a super good tournament ruined by the crowd.
#6 Champions 2021 - Good upsets. Good matches. First Champions so everyone wanted to win. Overall great tournament. (GMB should've won)
#7 Masters Madrid - Coming into this a lot of teams were in form. KC, SEN, GEN.G, TH, PRX, LOUD. No favorites just such brutal combat each match with the format.
#8 Masters Reykjavik 2022 - EMEA were nerfed. OPTIC and LOUD were favorites. Insane run by ZETA made this tournament somewhat interesting.
#9 Masters Tokyo - FNC hard favorites. Everyone wanted to beat them. This tournament not a a lot of teams were in form. DRX, LOUD, NRG, PRX. Only EG looked good. FNC was obviously winning.
#10 LOCK//IN - Shitty format. Teams just formed and were together for 1 month. Not a lot of upsets obviously. FNC, LOUD, NRG, DRX were the favorites here since they kept the same core.
#11 Masters Reykjavik 2021 - FNC and SEN favorites. Pure domination from SEN. SEN was the only good team and entertaining team here.

Champions 2024 isn't done but I would say it's #4.

competitiveness as in how "fair" the tournament is, or how stacked the top teams are / how close opponents and matches are?

Both. If every team was in peak form at LOCK//IN it would be impossible to rank teams.

then i think lock in should be higher because the grand finals went to map 5 OT with (arguably) the greatest match of valorant ever, certainly best grand final ever, with insane games like NRG vs LOUD, DRX vs LOUD, and just overall every match being so hard to predict - even more so as teams had changed many players out so we had no idea who would be the best

I mean its also because they kept cores while teams that just formed got slaughtered. I might move it.

I'd argue lockin is much h more competitive than master Reykjavik 2021. Lockin had much more team that could have won it while the master was dominated by sentinels, not dropping a single map.

Lockin finals alone was more competitive than the entirety of master Reykjavik 2021

Lock-In was competitive in the way that running a bracket of coinflips would be competitive. Teams are so new and the format is so gimmicky that anyone can win.
