for me, I learn portuguese from my father who is from portuguese India so Brazilian accent is very different than what I know. It sounds more like nose sounds if that makes sense than the portuguese my dad/grandparents speak,

probably, last time I went back to goa ( portuguese India) the only people that still knew it were 65+ years old. There are some that still speak it that live in portugal, they were offered citizenship with portugal before India took back goa.
