Like don't get me wrong I am totally insane
but isn't there a 1% chance that like
riot brough back split to increase revenue?
Note that riot have never done anything out of the blue that didn't profit them directly.
We all know Sentinels are pretty much unbeatable on split
Realistically the better sentinels do the more money they will likely get.
It's no secret sentinels have the largest fanbase
The more matches we see Sentinels at, the more viewers, in person and online. That itself massively increases revenue.
+Tickets +food&drinks +merch +subs
It's also true that sentinels have a massive female following
And South Korea has one of the largest female gaming populations (W south korea)
So that further increases viewership, attendance and all the rest
It's also very likely that riot saw a massive rev increase when sentinels won a masters and thought, damn what if it were a champs?
idk there are a lot of factors that would benefit riot by doing this
But why, why, why do they reintroduce split a month after taking it out?
And why Pearl? Again with no changes? Feels like a side character to the main character that is split...
The only major thing occuring in riot's world is Champs. It 100% factually has to do with champs.
But is it because Sentinels qualified?
I don't fucking know its 5am I'm severely sleep deprived
