MVP: my definition for valorant mvp is the top player on the winning team according to vlr rating.
One thing i find very cool in valorant is that no player has mvped twice. Even the mvps who have won twice, did not mvp the second or third times.
TenZ mvp in Reykjavik, not in Madrid
Chronicle mvp in Berlin, not in LOCK//IN or Tokyo
Leo mvp in LOCK//IN, not in Tokyo
Alfajer mvp in Tokyo, not in LOCK//IN
Sacy not mvp in champs 22 or Madrid
Winning twice is hard, only Fnatic and Sentinels have done it, the latter with a very different roster.
MVPing isn't very easy, not even great players like Aspas haven't done it.
That is also why the goat debate is wide open, no player has MVPed twice and showcased that blend of individual performance and team success over a scale of more than one event.
Previous mvps include; TenZ, Chronicle, zeek, yay, Shao, Pancada, Leo, Alfajer, Demon1, zekken, *SHANGHAI NOT KNOWN, and TBD
Some have a chance to do it at the very next event, champions seoul 24. these players are tenz, chronicle, leo, alfajer and zekken.
Another thing to consider is that it can be someone who hasn't mvped at all before, it can even be someone who hasn't played in VCT yet. the top players only have a one time mvp lead over you and i, so who is to say it isn't some random no ones heard of?
Anyway my pick is either sayonara cause that guy is insane, only problem is how young he is, he wont even be able to play at the start of the 2026 season, let alone the 2025 one.
my other is Alfajer/Chronicle who each have an amazing chance to do it in this event right now
So my question is, who do you think will be the first 2 time mvp?
