Music thread

I made a music thread and I got banned for 1 day and mods deleted that thread in 2 minutes
The context of that thread is to post your favorite songs so everyone else can rate those songs
Is making music threads not allowed?
why i got banned for 1 day?

I don’t see why a music thread would be an issue but a “I guess your ___” thread isn’t, they’re both as unproductive

As long as it’s in off topic it should be fine
