Pacific's tier 2 player base has a lot of untapped potential so i thought id give my picks for the players that impressed me the most from each of the respective leagues.
for any reasoning as to why i picked the players i have, respond to this post and ill give you my reasoning.

I tried to leave off known good players, juicy was already rated as a talented player so i expect him to get picked up no matter what.
agreed with margret he was my third choice after sungjin, just seemed like he was dying too easy in that grand final and it knocked him down to 3rd for me. Yoman is a great shout for IGL and i just don't like francis' yoru so i didn't consider him a flex player hes a decent initiator player tho.

I mean, it's not really a "Best Tier 2 Pacific Talent" list if you're omitting the actual best players because they're well known...lol

Margaret made it to grand finals and won and was a major reason why SPG won map 5. Guy had a ton of impact to swing the momentum for SPG in the 2nd half. Sungjin didn't even make it to lower finals and got knocked out 0-2 to NS. He only played for 1 map at that. I don't see in what world you would rate Sungjin higher than Margaret, when Margaret has performed better against better teams/the same teams.

probably just biased cus i prefer how sungjin plays, juicy is the only player i left off that hasn't played tier1 and that was because he technically qualified for tier1.

i mean he qualified, doesn't mean he is. he's been playing in tier 2 for the last 2 years, he's played in tier 1 not even for a single day. that makes him tier 2. and also where's johnolsen? and syouTa?

also some indonesian guy just told me now that zesbeew is singaporean not indo

There is one Indonesian player with IGN, Nakya was competing in MYSG, but his team (Elevate) choking and lose to DSG
His playstyle & explosive is quite similar with Famouz, check it if you guys wanna know about him!

I'm ok with lumo , but yotaa did not look good ,hell I don't think scarz members can be here except yoshii because this team did so poorly at sp2 (Edit: I'm just salty about Yotaa and scarz as a whole💀)

I think for japan :
Duelist : absol, syouta , yowamu (guy had huge glow up after leaving nth) , bom alpha ( huge bet on this guy )
Sentinels : Yatsuka
Initiator : Tenzou (guy looked better than I expected), muto (say what you want about him but he kept his cool even when reject is in shit phase)
Controller : Aace
Flex :thiefy ( joke mention; he played everything but controller and it costed his performance 😭) , hals ( I think he will perform next sp) , Brian ( he's like thiefy but less everything and had better performance)

You can add these to your list too but I want to prioritize the locals first 😅

wont lie i had too much faith in yotaa but i cant back down now LMFAO, tixx is definitely AUS bias considering ive watched this guy stomp in tier2 for a while, id agree with all your decisions considering JP is one of the regions i watched the least in tier2 apac.

It's ok bro just like your bias with Tixx I'm completely biased with my choices here😂. Heck, Bom alpha didn't even qualify to sp2 he's currently trialing(?) with FAV gaming. The same goes with Yowamu ( Killing it on BC Swell)

I think Tixx is better suited outside when there's no restrain on the roster tho.

I'm sorry you are actually high as fuck for thinking Yotaa didn't look good. He literally has the highest ACS of the main event and is the 4th highest rated player at the event. He's also the best pure duelist player of the event as well lol. He has the highest KPR and highest ADR as well.

Either you're misremembering really really badly or you just have a bias against SCARZ/Yotaa (I do remember you were talking about how SCARZ isn't a good team and is harmful for the JP scene because they speak English and focus on importing talent instead of picking Japanese natives)

Patmen is probably a little bit of recency bias on my part, didn't like how he played vs Oasis but he's had a good season so I wouldn't be surprised if a ts/rrq pick him up

i like Nakya just think he has some growing to do before he's capable of putting up numbers in tier1, he's a good gamble tho

and i didn't like Fixy's jett, seemed like he was dying first more than he was getting picks (even on the defense side which is worrying) he's a decent tier2 player tho with some upsides(that grand final performance was impressive).

its hard to say who will be the best player from tier2, its difficult to compare regions as well as you don't know who will crumble on stage under the pressure. for example w00t wasn't even a top 5 rated player in VCT Türkiye last year, players rated above him like izzy and sociablee are still in tier2 while woot is making history. its not that simple to predict who the next goat is.
