Most obvious group of death ever

Has there been an event with a more obvious group of death than group B? 3 teams which have placed 1st or 2nd at international events and a scrappy Chinese team with lan experience (not saying fpx are gonna upset but if anyone was it would be them). Absurd firepower everywhere, has any group ever had 3 elite title contenders and a serious dark horse in it before now?

last year group d i think at the time was the group of death, consisting of loud, drx, Navi, liquid. you can attest saying that only loud was good but imo i think for the prestige these teams had it could be up there with this years

Obviously hindsight makes it hard to judge but we're Navi and TL considered the best Emea teams at the time above fnc? If not with DRX probably not being at the level of Sen/GenG id hesitate to put it on par with this one

Im basing i think more on the reaction back then tbh, I saw more threads n interactions about that group than this years. All the teams in group d Had a chance at redemption and I think thats what like made them seem more dangerous. also all those teams are better than FPX

they were the obv group of death last year but that was for the teams that were trying to prove themselves again. they were good teams at the start of the year but all stumbled in tokyo which made the group have the expectations of bop or flop. the games in that group though were competitive.
