I noticed in vcj many of the imports there have Rio company as an agency in their profile.

What is an agency ? Why some chose to join Rio company and some didn't?

it's kr esports agency, some of their notable players are buzz, zest, karon, foxy9, akame, etc.

they once had valorant team but disbanded, buzz was also in the rosters.

What are the advantages of joining an agency?

They make sure that you're not signing a terrible scummy contract. Majority of Esports players are very young and naive so you can only imagine what would happen if there's noone supervising those contract signings.
