Champs map/agent pool

Has there been any official statement about whether Fracture or Chamber will be playable at Champs? I wouldn't assume any teams would utilize Chamber in the biggest tourney of the year but i could see Fracture causing some problems if it's allowed.

We can pretty much expect teams to autoban Fracture then, right? That would force teams to play maps they would previously ban which could make for some wild matches

Not a lot of teams played breeze when it was first allowed and there are several pros who just flat out hate Fracture. Im sure these teams work on the map but in a tournament of this magnitude i wouldnt expect them to risk anything

Fracture was Released on september i think , 3 months of practice too , soo i think Fracture will be like a Surprise map where ppl will randomly be gods at the map , i think Fracture will be played but not that much

If any team manages to be competent at Fracture , they will be frightening to play against. Either you have to play them on Fracture or you have to burn your ban on it and be forced to play a different map you aren't comfortable with. yikes!

yeah a team which has put the time and effort into learning fracture will be NASTYY , and especially if the team ur going up against has an ehh map pool ,

Based on Masters Berlin rules, a new map will be eligible for VCT four weeks after its release in the live queue while a new agent will be eligible two weeks after introduction to competitive. Fracture went on the live comp queue on September 21st making it eligible on October 26th. Chamber will be on the competitive queue on November 16th and should be eligible on November 30th, a day before Champions.

the same rules were present for reykjavik and breeze wasn't played despite making the cutoff

that was because legit the entire competitive community was against breeze be played; as of rn and most likely fracture will be played in champions and as of right now (not 100% sure) chamber is to be played in champions unless the community is against it
