It was an all-around effort for G2 across the two maps, with four of the five players posting at least 33 kills.

On Lotus, a map where G2 has excelled all split, 100T won the first two rounds to take an early 2-0 lead. After three straight round wins for 100T, they swung the map back in their favor, 3-2.

After a back-and-forth attacking half for 100T, they entered their defensive side trailing 7-5, partly due to a Boostio clutch in a 1v2 with low HP in the final round of the half.

Boostio clutches the 1v2 on low hp to win the round.

G2 started their attacking half strong by winning the first two rounds and followed up by securing the bonus round. They did not drop another round and finished their attacking half with a 13-5 win.

This would be the first official game on Abyss for both G2 and 100T, as the map had only recently entered rotation for the playoffs.

On Abyss, 100T aimed to recover on their own map pick but quickly fell behind 3-0 after losing the first two rounds and failing to convert their first gun round. 100T won three straight rounds after trailing 4-0, cutting the lead to 4-3. After another back-and-forth half, they found themselves down 7-5 again at halftime.

100T lost the pistol round once more and fell behind 9-5 before Cryocells heated up on Jett, helping to tie the game at 9-9.

Leading 12-10, G2 needed just one more round to qualify for Champions and secure their second international event of the year. Boostio and trent were left in a 1v1, and after Boostio used his Cypher ultimate, Trent managed to plant the spike and retreat off-site. With time running out and forced into a fight, Boostio failed to secure the kill, allowing Trent to clutch the round and win the map 13-10.

Trent wins a 1v1 against Boostio to clinch the match for G2.

Leaf joined G2 with hopes of qualifying for an international event in 2024, stating in the interview process with Coach JoshRT , "The number one thing I want to do this year is qualify for an international event."
