I don't get these posts bc most of the time, the best team rn is 100% gonna win
Well the best team right now hasn't gone up against other best teams in their prime so I wanna know who you think would win
The problem is that the older best teams are gonna be playing in a different meta than their prime
While the current best one is already chilling in terms of comps, strats, etc.
you cant compare (FNC > GENG in my opinion, but still)
the teams were playing in completely different metas and different map pools...
GEN>FNC>EG. I’m not saying reasoning other than EG 2023 is incredibly Overrated and people act like they were by far the best team ever when loud got them to 5 maps.
EG 23 weren't the best but if we're gonna use Champs Loud as a benchmark, FNC was 1-4 in maps against them.
Compared to that, 3-2 from EG is infinitely better
2023 FNC isn’t just champs though. They win 2 internationals with 1 fully convincingly and the other with the greatest comeback ever. Sure they fell off at champs but it’s all of 2023 not 1 tournament.
Ik but ur acting like going 5 maps against LOUD is a bad thing when FNC did the same at LOCK-IN and frankly should've lost if LOUD didn't choke that 11-3 lead
The achievements are fnc, but geng still has a chance to win the Champions
